Susan B. Hunt, 71, of Windsor, beloved daughter to the late Leigh E. and Eleanor (Gardner) Hunt passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 29, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Susan was born on January 14, 1950 in Needham, MA.

Growing up in Windsor, CT, she attended local schools and was a graduate of Windsor High School, Class of 1968. Upon graduation from high school, Susan continued her education in the Music Department at the University of Connecticu­t, earning her master's degree. Susan was employed with LP Wilson Junior High School in Windsor for over 10 years before her retirement in 1986. In the early 2000's, Susan began dedicating her time to the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Enfield as their organist all the way up until her passing. A special thank you to Fa. Steve & Fa. Peter for their years of support and understand­ing during her times of need. Susan also taught private piano lessons to individual­s young and old. In 2010 her greatest achievemen­t was joining the Musical Club of Hartford where she was a member of the “8 Hands Group” performing numerous concerts at the University of Hartford and all these performanc­es can be viewed on YouTube. In her spare time, Susan was an avid gardener, recreating and planting similar flowers and plants mentioned in the bible. Susan's kind and loving personalit­y and spirit will be missed by her family and friends.

Susan is survived by her three siblings, Gail Hunt Williams and her husband David of Williamsto­wn, MA, Nancy Hunt Gosnell and her husband Jim of Carlsbad, CA, and Leigh Andrew Hunt and his companion Kimberly Brodeur of Collinsvil­le, CT; three nieces; four nephews; one grand-niece and one grand-nephew as well as many dear friends including Colette and Brian Brown. Burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Windsor. Per Susan's request, a memorial service celebratin­g her life will be held at a later date.
