Underpaid nursing home workers deserve more

We need to support the underpaid, overworked employees of nursing homes. It is one of the major problems associated with caring for people who cannot care for themselves and have no family or friends who are able or willing.

These workers deserve respect and a major increase in their salaries. The quality of nursing homes in this state has greatly declined as large corporations have taken over homes that once were privately owned and run by individuals in the community.

This is not something we as a society should be proud of.
