Stella A [O'Donnell ] Marsh, beloved wife of the late Gordon Marsh, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on May 12, 2021.She was born in Houlton Maine in June of 1933, daughter of the late John T and Lucy C [ Dugan ] O'Donnell. She grew up in Maine with her eleven siblings, coming to Connecticu­t in 1954 to work at Pratt and Whitney, later becoming a stay at home mom. She was a communican­t of St. Isaac Jogues Church since its opening, and a member of the St. Rose Our Lady of Consolatio­n Mother's Circle for 63 years. She had a passion for gardening and the potato, but her true love was her family. She leaves behind her children, Douglas of Security, CO, Lisa of Watertown CT, Tracey of East Hartford, Ted of North Lakeport, MI, Tim of Farmington and Victor of Windsor Locks. She was affectiona­tely known as "Grandi" to her 13 Grandchild­ren and 9 Great Grandchild­ren. She also leaves her long time neighbor and special friend Alta. She is survived by her siblings, Allen, Clifford and Gerald, as well as her sister Margaret, her lifelong confidante. Along with her husband she was predecease­d by her daughter Ann Marsh Masi and her brothers and sisters, Eugene, Dennis, Donald, Francis, Kathryn, Alice and Helen. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Visiting Nurse and Health Services of CT for the excellent hospice care they provided during Stella's brief illness.
