On Monday, May 4, 2021, Holly Yeske, 60, of Bristol, passed away surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Holly was born on December 24, 1960, in Manchester, CT to the late Raymond and Jean (Carlson) Johnson. She attended St. James School and Manchester High School. She received her Associates degree from Tunxis Community College and was employed for many years at Bayer Corporatio­n in Berlin. More recently she worked as a case manager for the Reed Group. She is survived by her beloved husband Mark Yeske; her devoted son, Eric Drury and his wife Monica; her two grandchild­ren, Lyla and Nicolas, who were the lights of her life; a brother, John Johnson and his wife Lisa of Manchester; two sisters, Linnea Klim and Paul of Manchester and Heather Poulin and her husband Ron of Ellington; a brother-in-law, Robert Borello of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by a sister, Kathleen Borello. Holly lived her life to fullest, loved to travel, tinker in her garden and collect antiques. She appreciate­d the smallest things in life and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends who knew her as a free spirit with a big heart. We can take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her much-loved German Shepard, Ben-German. Her family will receive friends on Thursday, May 20, 9-10:30 a.m., at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m., at St. James Church, 896 Main St., Manchester. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Bristol Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital for their amazing care and compassion shown during a very difficult time.
