Leamy, Carole

Carole (Sincere) Leamy passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Born on January 24, 1940 in Hartford, she was the eldest child of Matthew and Helen (Constantino) Sincere. After graduating with the Class of 1958 from East Hartford High School, Carole made the decision to become a nurse. She graduated from Middlesex Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in the spring of 1961. From there she embarked on her journey as a registered nurse that would span four decades. Her career began at Hartford Hospital, and shortly thereafter she transferred to the Maternity Ward at St. Francis Hospital. One of her greatest joys in life was the opportunity to tend to her many grandchildren who were born there.

Carole leaves her children, Gerard & Joyce of Manchester, and Michael of Granby. As Grandma she leaves Kyle & Mary, Corey, Caitlin, Jacob & Sharon, Jessica, Morgan, Austin, Seth & Skye and Kristen; and great-grandchildren Landon and Silas. As adopted Mom she leaves Dwight Keilbach and his family. Carole also leaves her siblings, Martha Hebert and Matthew Sincere, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by two children, MaryAlice Cormier and Steven Leamy; and two siblings, Beverly Piscottano and James Sincere. The family would like to thank Alyssa & Nancy for their kind friendship and gracious care while looking after Carole last year. Thanks are also extended to Joyce B. and the Trinity Health of NE At Home team for their committed care during these last months.
