Robert E. Kerr, 88, of Unionville, husband of the late Barbara J. Kerr, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 17, 2021. Born October 30, 1932 in Unionville, son of the late Harry S. and Helena (O'Donnell) Kerr. Bob was a

United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Prior to retiring, he was employed by the Town of Farmington as an Inspector in the Engineerin­g Department. Bob enjoyed a long retirement; was an avid golfer, with an incredible lifetime seven holes in one, a member of the Farmington Game Club, the Canton Golf League and was the long-time manager of the Knights of Columbus card games.

Bob is survived by his four children, Stephen R. Kerr and his wife Linda B. and their children Daniel and his wife Tracy and Emily of Burlington, Timothy Kerr and his wife Ann and their children Hannah and her fiancée Logan, Jason and Stephanie of Farmington, Susan E. Ronan and her husband Leslie R. and their children Christophe­r and his wife Kalyen, Russell, Geoffrey and Denise of Simsbury and James A. Kerr and his fiancée Gail MacLean and James' children Andrew and his fiancée Kelly, Alexander and his wife Alicia, Ashlyn and Amanda of Canton and Gail's children, Peter, Katie and Joseph of Simsbury, and two great-grandchild­ren Sylvain and Serenity. He was one of 4 children and leaves his sister Helena (Kerr) Taylor. He was predecease­d by his step father Chester Levandowsk­i and his brothers Stanley Kerr and Norman Kerr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his special friends Kathy Zembrowski and Richie Benoit.

Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Tuesday (June 22) from 4:007:00 pm. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be Wednesday (June 23) at 9:15 am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Unionville at 10:00 am. Burial will be private at
