Donald Steven Weinberg, M.D., 75, Beloved and loving husband, brother, father and papa, died peacefully at home on June 17, 2021.

Donald was born on March 21, 1946 in Mount Vernon, NY. Son of William and Frances Weinberg, he was raised in Harrison, NY where he went on obtain his undergraduate

degree from Johns Hopkins University, class of 1968. A graduate of the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Class of 1974,

he completed his residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center, from 1975 – 1978. He then went on, dedicating himself to

his private practice at Grove Hill Medical Center in New Britain, CT. He was a highly regarded otolaryngologist,

who spent his life and career caring for his patients. His family found him to be the most brilliant man who took care of everyone. Donny was happiest on the golf course telling a joke, peacefully reading the New York Times, watching British soccer, or on the beach with a cigar and WWII book in hand. Above all, he loved lounging at the pool with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, three children: Daniel (Patricia) Weinberg, Jennifer (Joseph) Csida, and Alison (Scott) Maze. His brother Robert (Mona) Weinberg, along with the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Parker, Michael, Jack and Emily. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Salie Bloom.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in Donald's name be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
