Philip DelGiudice

Farmington, CT.

Phil grew up in East Hartford and graduated from George J. Penney High School in 1975 and continued to Manchester Community College, earning his Associate's degree as a Surgical Technician in 1978. After a few years, Phil decided to go into business for himself, first as the owner of the Old Schoolhouse Deli in Madison, CT, then the Sisson Tavern in Hartford, CT, and finally as the owner of Brooke-Lyn Catering, run through Generis Caterers, from 1996 to his passing.

Phil was passionate about music, comedy, and above all else, his family and friends. He was known to be fearless and, in addition to sky diving, enjoyed nothing more than riding

his motorcycle in his free time. Taking a ride up to Vermont to see the fall foliage was a favorite yearly trip of his.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, caring, and humor, and is remembered as a loving and dedicated son and father. Phil is survived by his daughter, Brooke and her mother, Beth, his parents, Audrey

and Philip, his brother Ken and his wife Holly, as well as his nieces Katie and Courtney, his sister Victoria and his nephews, John and Anthony, and leaves behind many cousins, including George and Debbie, with whom he was very close. He also leaves behind his best friend, Kim.

An intimate gathering will be held by the family to celebrate Phil's life. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made in Phil's honor to The Ehlers-Danlos Society.
