Romans, Robert F.

Robert F. Romans, age 91, passed away Saturday July 17, 2021 at the Hope Health Hospice Center in Providence, RI after a brief illness.

Born in Bristol, CT April 29, 1930, Bob was the son of the late Robert V. and M. Josephine (Sweeney) Romans. Bob was predeceased by his wife Ann in 2010 and his two sisters Helen A. Romans in 2014 and Betty J. Hintz in

2017.

He is survived by a brother and sister in law Richard G. and Sandy Romans of Bristol, CT; a brother in law Ken Hintz of Bristol, CT; his children Robert T. Romans of Chelmsford; Lisa R. King and her husband Stephen of Clinton, CT; Christopher S. Romans and his wife Mary of North Easton; Victorine M. Romans of Hyannis; and his two stepchildren Michael R. Sawicki and his wife Jean of Mashpee and Robbin A. Passaro and her husband Richard of Wallingford, CT. He leaves seven beloved grandchildren: Emily and Andrew Romans of North Easton, Maggie King of Clinton, CT; Matthew Sawicki and his wife Sheila of Kingston, Justin Sawicki of Mashpee, and Richard and Rachel Passaro of Wallingford, CT; along with three great grandchildren.

Visiting hours are Monday July 26, 2021 from 9:3010:30 am at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral

Home, 160 W Main St.,Hyannis, MA followed by a funeral mass at St. Francis Xavier Church in

Hyannis at 11 am. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations
