Bielewicz, Veronica Misiorski

Veronica J. (Misiorski) Bielewicz, 89, of New Britain, died on July 29, 2021, joining her late husband, Edward Bielewicz.

Veronica was born on June 13, 1932, in New Britain, to the late Stanislaus and Julianna Misiorski. She was a lifelong resident of New Britain and attended local schools throughout her childhood, ultimately graduating from Mary Immaculate Academy. After graduation, Veronica began work for multiple local companies, including Fafnir Bearings and Cavel Tools.

Veronica was an avid baker and devout member of the Holy Cross and Sacred Heart Parishes. She also loved travelling, especially with her best friend Florence Wosczyna.

She was the loving mother of her only son, Michael Bielewicz Sr. and his wife Alane (Ulissi) Bielewicz. In addition to her son, Veronica leaves her adored grandsons, Michael Bielewicz Jr. and his wife Eileen (Carabetta) Bielewicz, and David Bielewicz and his wife Kristen (Krause) Bielewicz. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Veronica will always be remembered as “Grandma Mader” to her loving extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, August 2, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 3, at 9:30am at Sacred

Heart Church, 158 Broad Street, New Britain. Following the mass, Veronica will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
