Lumb, Hazel W (Walton)

On the afternoon of August 3rd Hazel W. (Walton) Lumb of Tequesta, Florida passed away at age 94. Hazel was born in Connecticu­t to Harry and Cora R. (Robinson) Walton on September 25, 1925. After attending East Hampton High School, Hazel started a lunch counter business within Thatcher's Drug Store in the 1950's. In 1969, she moved to Tequesta, Florida and became an active member of her community where she played tennis, bridge and worked in the library of The First Presbyteri­an Church of

Tequesta. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Richard Lumb, her siblings Mary, Ester, Harry, Bobby and Fred along with her great granddaugh­ter Samantha. She is survived by her three sons William Lumb and Lawrence Lumb of Hobe Sound, Florida and by Barton Bailey and his wife Astrid of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. She also survived by her sister Alberta Highland, two grandchild­ren and two great grandchild­ren.
