Selrenna O. Smith, 71, of Hartford, CT, departed this life peacefully on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Selrenna was born December 26, 1949 in Hartford, CT, to the late Mrs. Ruby KingSmith and Mr. James Rolle. Selrenna was a graduate of Hartford Public High School, after graduation she went into the field of nursing at the age of 18 where she served many years at St. Francis Hospital and transitioned to Rocky Hill V.A. Hospital until retirement. Selrenna had achieved all that her heart desired and she lived a full and complete life her way. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, BC Ruffin, III (Johnette);

grandson, Billy T. Smith, Jr.; godson, Terrell Collins; sisters, Sandra Smith, Donna Smith, Rosalyn Smith all of Hartford, CT, Hilda Clark of Manchester, CT, and Sheila Smith of South Carolina; brothers, Robert Smith (Lois), Walter Smith, Jr., Anthony Smith all of Hartford, CT, Kevin Smith (Dorothy) of Bloomfield, CT, Gregory Smith (Mary) of East Hartford, CT, Kenneth Smith (Pat) of Windsor, CT, Lawrence Smith of New Haven, CT, James Smith of New York, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
