Inger G. Swanson, 94, of Wethersfield, formerly of West

Hartford, husband of Beverly Martensen Swanson and the late Elly Ruth Swanson passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021. Born in Grrt. Osterland, Sweden, son of the late Gustav C. Swanson and Judith L. Nillson, he moved to West Hartford in 1928 and graduated from

Wm. Hall High School in 1945. Inger served in the U.S. Army from 1945 - 1947 in Naples, Italy.

He was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, the Hartford, Vasa Order of America, the Hartford Liederkranz, the Hartford Saengerbund. He was a Union Plumber, CT Plumber and Pipefitters Union, Local 777. Besides his wife, he was survived, Kenneth Swanson and his wife Stormy of Ivoryton and many relatives in Sweden. He was predeceased by a sister, May R. Swanson and a daughter, daughter, Lynn Swanson.
