Horn, Virginia Mary

Virginia Mary Horn, 80, of Windsor, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on Friday, August 27, 2021, with her family at her side. Virginia was born on March 7, 1941 in Oswego, NY., one of three children of the late Bernard Leeroy Horn and Virginia Mary (Schwalm) Horn. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Bradley Inn in Windsor Locks. Virginia was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed spending time with her family. They were very important to her and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her son Shawn Rodriguez of Windsor, her daughter Ramona Rodriguez of Connecticut, her brother Bernard Horn and wife Nina of Rockville MD, her sister Angela Rodriguez Schwalm and husband Abisai Portalatin DeJesus of Rio Grande, PR. Her three loving and cherished grandchildren Robert Morrison and his partner Heather Lord of Vernon, Samantha Prue and husband Christopher of Vernon and Layla BuckleyRodriguez of Windsor, four great-grandchildren Rylee, Nicholas and Abigail Prue and Jesse Lord-Jansson and many nieces, nephews and their families.
