Clifford, Cynthia Brewster

Cynthia Brewster Clifford of West Hartford, Widow of the late Dr. Peter B. Clifford passed away on February

19, 2021 after a brief illness: Cynthia was the daughter of the late Jessie and James Brewster of Litchfield and

West Hartford, Connecticut.

Cynthia graduated from Oxford School in the Super Class of 1950 and the Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. She was a communicant of St. James Episcopal Church of West Hartford and was a former member of the Hartford Golf Club, the Junior League of Hartford, the Town and County Club, the Women's Auxiliary of Hartford Hospital, the Woman's Auxiliary of Hartford Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center, the Connecticut Historical Society and the Old State House Association. Cynthia is survived by her two sons James L. Clifford

and Melissa Sievers of Oneonta, New York and Jonathan Clifford of San Francisco, California, her brother-in-law Dr. Eugene Clifford of Old Saybrook, her nieces Sara L. Clifford and her husband Brian Moran of Glastonbury, Heather E. Clifford and her husband John Gage of Old Saybrook.

Clifford, her sister Mary B. Brooks and brother-in-law, Richard Brooks of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, her sisters in law Harriet Clifford of Hartford and Linda L.

A memorial service will be held for Cynthia on September 20, 2021 at 1:00 pm at St. James Episcopal Church, 1018 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford, Connecticut.
