DuBois, Betty-Jane (Hasbrouck)

Betty-Jane (Hasbrouck) DuBois, 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Middlesex Hospital after a short illness. Born in Torrington, CT she lived in Manchester and graduated from Manchester High School in 1944. She became a nurse after being trained by the Cadet Nurse Corp in WWII. Betty worked at Mt. Sinai Hospital until her retirement in 1986. She married Gerard DuBois in 1947 and had last resided in Tolland, CT. She is survived by her six children: Paul DuBois, Diane DuBois Jameson and her husband Bruce, Deborah DuBois Routhier and her husband George, Gerard "Jay" DuBois and his life partner Brenda Stassola, Jayne DuBois Villanova and her husband Robert, and Michael DuBois and his wife Lynn, 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may join the family for calling hours between 10am-11:30am with a Christian Funeral Home Service at 11:30am on Tuesday, September 21. 2021 at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Road, Tolland.
