Mitchell, Denise D.E.

Denise D. E. Mitchell peacefully passed onto glory Tuesday, August 31, 2021, after a long battle with Spinocerebellar Ataxia; multiple system failure. Denise was born on January, 1, 1960, in Kingston, Jamaica to Dennis and Marjorie Mitchell. She is a devoted wife of Carl Grant, the loving mother of Noelle Dribben and Siobhan Grant, Mother-in-law to Brian Dribben, and cherished Nana of Talia and Grant Dribben. Denise is also survived by her sisters Pauline and Marcia, her brother Milton, and numerous nephews and nieces. Most people knew her as Dawn. She never knew a stranger; was always a friend; and was always willing to help. She served as an excellent role model to all, and made an impact on our lives. Her passions were her family, friends, and work. Denise loved the Lord, and joyfully served at Trinity Methodist Church. She understood above all else, that one's life is defined by relationships; and everyone she touched was better for knowing her. May her life and her memory always be a blessing.

Family and friends may gather at Carmon Funeral Home 807 Bloomfield Ave, Windsor, CT 06095, for public visitation on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10:30 am at Trinity Church, 180

Park Ave., Windsor, CT. There will be a repast immediately following the service at the church. A private burial will be on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Mt.
