Irene Mislivets Schade, 80, passed on August 24, 2021 after a long illness. Irene was born on April 2, 1941 in Hartford, CT. She retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. She enjoyed spending her summers camping with family and friends. She loved teaching her grandchildren to cook and bake. Irene was a passionate football fan. She loved the Patriots and Tom Brady. Her favorite thing to do was going out to eat at her favorite places, the Vernon Diner and Mitchell's. Irene's family and friends will remember her sense of humor and the kindness she showed everyone. Irene is survived by her daughters, Tamra Rome of Tampa, FL and Bonnie Schade of Vernon, CT. Her grandchildren Frankie Rome, Benjamin Allard and his wife Samantha, James Aylward, Amanda French and her husband Walter. Her great-grandchildren Carlos and Ariana Rome. Her sisters Janet Wenis, Shirley Bahler, Debbie Griffin, Bobbie Oswecki and many loved nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her son Michael Schade. Her parents Elizabeth and Glen Bahler and Frank Mislivets. Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home 318 Burnside Ave. East Hartford, CT. 06108 is assisting the family.
