Albert, "Joe", is predeceased by his parents, Alexander Pitre and Armelde (nee Duclos) Pitre and a sister, Irene Morin. He is survived by his siblings: Lorraine Staples, Pauline Sampoli, Estelle Campbell, Larry Pitre, Armelde Pitre, Gisele Buehler; a son: John Atkins; 2 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He had a career as an mechanic and inspector at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. He was also a Vietnam Veteran in the US Navy. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church in Willimantic, CT on Tuesday, Sept 28, 2021 at 11 AM.
