Phyllis Ann Dellaripa-Kranmas, 78, of East Hartford, beloved wife for 50 years of Cecil A. Kranmas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford on June 13, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John Michael and Ida “Molly” (Ruggiero) Dellaripa and had lived in the area all her life. Phyllis was a graduate of Weaver High School and worked as a pharmacy technician at Rite Aid. She was a huge fan of Elvis and enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her family.

A loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r and great-grandmothe­r, Phyllis will be forever missed by her devoted husband Cecil; two daughters, Carla Kranmas and husband Anthony Williams of East Hartford and Karen Therian and husband Todd Therian of Enfield; seven adored grandchild­ren, Ashley, John and Marc Kranmas and Jordan, Samantha, Joshua and Justin Therian and four cherished great-grandchild­ren, Ariana, Alexander (AJ), Carter and Cayson. She is also survived by four brothers, Robert Dellaripa and wife Jennifer of Feeding Hills, MA, Nicholas Dellaripa of East Hartford, Frederick

Dellaripa and wife Janet of Manchester and Richard Dellaripa and wife Laura of Marietta, GA; her sister, Pamela Dellaripa of Manchester and many dear nieces,

nephews, extended family members and friends who will all miss her dearly. She was predecease­d by two

brothers, John and Michael Dellaripa and two sisters, Molly Masiuk and Maria Dellaripa. Special thanks to the staff of Hartford Healthcare and the Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center for their care and compassion.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 21, at 10 a.m. at St. Christophe­r Church of St. Edmund Campion Parish, 538 Brewer Street, East Hartford. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Hartford. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4-6 p.m. at the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Masks are required for
