Hoerrner, Joanne

Joanne Hoerrner, 57, of Avon, beloved wife of Daniel Hoerrner, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 28th, 2021. Born August 14, 1964 in Manhasset, New York, she was the daughter of Paula (Griffin) Flynn of Avon and the late John Joseph Flynn.

Joanne attended Avon schools and The University of Hartford. At The Home Builders Association she was employed as their Executive Administrator and served as an integral part of the team for 17 years.

Besides her husband and mother, Joanne is survived by her brother, John (Jay) Flynn of Georgia and her much-loved nephew, Joseph Flynn. Joanne's energy, capability and caring spirit will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 28th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Farmington Woods Clubhouse Restaurant at 43 Heritage Rd., Avon. A private catholic burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Canton at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr., Wallingford, CT 06492 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
