Amenta, Anna Marie (Gallo)

Anna Marie Gallo Amenta passed peacefully in her daughters' home after an enduring battle with breast cancer on August 14, 2020 at the age of 95. Anna was born in Hartford, CT in 1925, daughter of Vincenzo and Lucia Gallo. Anna graduated from Buckley High School in

Hartford. Anna enjoyed cooking, baking, spending time with her family, crocheting, playing cards and the piano. She loved to volunteer her time at William Hall

High School's library. Anna is survived by her sister, Joanna Sarkesian, her four children who currently reside in Gilbert, AZ: Richard, Kathleen, Elaine, and James Amenta, as well as two sister-in-law's Linda Drozd. and Wendy Amenta. Anna is further survived by her nine grandchildren: Kimberly, Michele, Gerry Jr., Paul, Branden, Sydney, Madison, Shaun and Tyler, and three great-grandchildren: Tristan, Lindsay and Taylor. Anna will be laid to rest in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery alongside her husband, Paul R. Amenta. The graveside service will be held Friday, October 8th at 2:00 PM in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
