John Beierle, 90, of Higganum, beloved husband of Esther Lathrop Beierle, died Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Aaron Manor in Chester. He was born in Meriden, son of Otto and Elizabeth (Holmes) Beierle. John earned his bachelor's Degree from the University of Connecticut, his Master's Degree from Syracuse University and then went on to follow his passion of anthropology. He was a Research Associate in cultural anthropology with Human Relations Area Files at Yale University for 52 years. Besides his wife Esther, John is survived by his son, Phillip Beierle and wife, Karen of Plantsville, daughter, Laura Beierle Floyd and her husband, David of Athens, GA, and three grandchildren, Miranda Floyd, Ian Beierle and Kate Beierle.Funeral services are private, and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
