Olsen, Paul W

Paul Walter Olsen of Cromwell passed away with his family by his side on September 21, 2021, at home.

He was born December 29, 1961, to Harriet (Smith) and Walter A. Olsen Jr. in Haddam Neck. Paul was employed for 21 years, at Petzold's Marine Center in Portland, where he was treated like family. Growing up in Haddam Neck, Paul loved spending time on the CT River in his motorboat. One of his favorite things to do was to go camping with his family. He was an avid UCONN women's basketball fan.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Eleanor, daughters Jessica and Angelina. His mother, sisters Deborah (Bradley) and Barbara and brother David (Sandy), mother in-law Helen Tinboy, sisters in-law,

Sarah (Ed) and Edna, brother in-law Jun (Hasmine). He also leaves many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father and sister, Mary.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend the service to be held on Saturday, October 9 at 10 a.m. at St. John's Church in Cromwell. Please follow COVID protocols. There will be a reception following the service at a location to be announced.
