Disgusted by maskless lawmakers

I was incensed to read in The Courant about Republican lawmakers at the Capitol defying Gov. Ned Lamont’s mask mandate and engaging citizens who question vaccination mandates [Page 1, Sept. 23, “Conservatives go maskless”].

We have a path out of this terrible pandemic: vaccines. We have lost almost 700,000 Americans. Why are we giving coverage to these ignorant, destructive people who will tax our health system and infect innocent people? Donald Trump downplayed this virus and spread misinformation resulting in death and suffering. These Connecticut Republicans, like Trump, should be silenced and ignored.
