Wolf Pack training camp roster announced

HARTFORD — The Hartford Wolf Pack have announced their training camp roster as preparatio­ns for the 2021-22 AHL season began on Friday.

Among the group of 17 forwards, 10 defenseman and three goalies are six players assigned to Hartford by the parent New York Rangers.

Included in the group are forwards Jonny Brodzinski, Tim Gettinger, Anthony Greco and Ty Ronning, defenseman Anthony

Bitetto and goaltender Keith Kinkaid.

The Wolf Pack open the regular season on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. against the Bridgeport Islanders at the XL Center. The opening weekend also includes games at the Springfiel­d Thunderbir­ds on Oct. 16 and home against the Providence Bruins on Oct. 17.

The Wolf Pack camp roster:

Forwards: Brodzinski, Christophe­r Brown-x, Cristiano DiGiacinto, Jake Elmer, Tanner Fritz, Gettinger, Greco, Brandon Hawkins-x, Patrick Khodarenko,

Derek Lodermeier-x, Ara Nazarian-x, Mike O’Leary, Justin Richards, Ronning, Austin Rueschhoff, James Sanchez, and Alex Whelan.

Defensemen: Zach Berzolla, Bitetto, Brandon Fortunato-x, Zach Giuttari, Victor Hadfield-x, Blake Hillman-x, Christophe­r Martenet-x, Tarmo Reunanen, Hunter Skinner, and Jeff Taylor.

Goaltender­s: François Brassard, Kinkaid, and Charles Williams-x

x-player signed to Profession­al Tryout agreement.
