Edward Clifford Daniels of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away on September 29, 2021 at the age of 83. Ed, as he was known to friends and family, was born in Hartford, Connecticu­t and was the son of Rose Marie Blandin and Earl Daniels. Ed leaves behind his devoted wife, Mary Anne Daniels. Ed was a plumber by trade for many years. He loved golf, working out at the gym, spending time with friends, and was an avid fisherman. He navigated many happy days on the water and was a certified captain who was known to many as “Captain Ed”. He and Mary Anne spent many beautiful summers living on board their boat in eastern Connecticu­t, often traveling to the surroundin­g islands and Rhode Island shore. Ed and Mary Anne also doted on a succession of small white dogs - Diji, Cotton I, and Cotton II - and thoroughly enjoyed living in Florida and cherished time spent with friends. Ed is survived by his daughter, Kim (Dan) Culver of South Windsor, Connecticu­t; brother David Daniels of Port St. Lucie, Florida; sister Sherry Alabaugh

of West Virginia; Mary Anne's children, Mary Ann (Mike) Brady of Chittenden, Vermont and Mike (Sybil) O‘Hare of Fairfield, Connecticu­t; grandchild­ren Chris (Jenn)

Culver, Shannon and Mathew Culver, Ashley (Angelo) Fichera, Cailin and Alison Brady, and Megan and Colin O'Hare; and great grandchild­ren Kaden and Kaylee Culver; and many beloved cousins and other extended family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's name to the American Parkinson's Disease Associatio­n.
