Dellacamera, Francis J.

Francis J. Dellacamera, 77, formerly of Berlin, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021.

Born in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late John and Lena (Costa) Dellacamera. Francis was a resident of Franklin Square, NY before moving to Berlin 20 years ago. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and enjoyed a long and successful career in banking in both New York and Connecticut. Francis was a member of St. Paul Church, the American Legion, and was an avid Department 56 Christmas collector. Surviving are a brother, Robert Dellacamera and his wife Donna of California; five nieces; nine grandnieces and grandnephews; and two great-grandnephews. He

was predeceased by his sister, Carrie Nigro. Francis will be remembered as kind and generous by everyone who had the pleasure of connecting with him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:30 AM at St. Paul Church, Kensington. Burial, with military honors, will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday morning from 10 AM to 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin/Porters, 111 Chamberlain Hwy., Kensington, CT 06037.
