Mokritski, Jeannette L.

Jeannette L. Mokritski, 80, of Unionville, widow of Daniel J. Mokritski, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 7, 2021. Born June 24, 1941 in Hartford, daughter of the late Henri E. Morrison and Juliette (LeBlanc) Schwartz. Jeannette resided in Unionville for over 50 years and is where she raised her family.

Jeannette loved her yearly vacations to North Carolina, which allowed her to be at the beach, a place that gave her immense joy and happiness. She is blessed with many loving aunts, cousins and friends. Having just recently celebrated her 80th birthday, she was surrounded by her family and friends, who were her pride and joy; nothing made her happier than to be with them. Her compassion and love for others was limitless, always there to help and support. Her fondness for animals was obvious. She treasured her dogs and took joy in feeding the squirrels and birds in the neighborhood.

Jeannette is survived by her three children, Daniel P. Hale and his wife Diane of New Hartford, Kathleen H. Brignano of Unionville, Emmet H. Hale II and his partner Lisa Gustafson of Coventry and her grandchildren, Anthony J. Brignano, Daniel P. Hale, Jr., Julia J. Brignano,

Sarah C. Hale and Jordan K. Hale. She was predeceased by her first husband, Emmet H. Hale, and her loving stepfather Martin F. Schwartz.

Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Thursday, October 14th from 8:30-9:30am. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be at 9:30am followed by the Funeral Liturgy at the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Unionville at 10:00am.
