John St. Pierre of Rocky Hill, beloved husband for 35 years of Allison (Hislop) St. Pierre, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 after a 5-year battle which involved two transplants. John was born on July 28, 1956, raised in East Hartford, the son of Mary (Galida) St. Pierre and Roderick St. Pierre. A graduate of

George J. Penney High School, John worked as a transportation supervisor for many years. He was an avid Red Sox fan and long distance motorcycle rider, and he enjoyed bird watching and anything involving science, religion, space or history. A loving husband, father and grandfather, John will be forever missed by his devoted wife Allison; his three children, Brent, Winslow and Margaret St. Pierre, and his adored granddaughter, Isabella. He is survived by his sister, Sharon Wayner and husband Cliff, brother, Phil

St. Pierre and wife Lynn; as well as his large extended family and lifelong friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Stuart Seropian and his amazing hematology team at the Smilow Cancer Center at Yale New Haven Hospital, as well as the incredible nurses and doctors who did everything they could in the MICU.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, October 12 from 5-7 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. Masks are required for all attendees. John was the recipient of multiple blood transfusions, so in lieu of flowers, please consider giving blood or making a donation to the Closer to Free fund to support Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center in his name.
