Mask is for you, not me

I wear a mask to protect you, not me. It’s been explained numerous times that the purpose of wearing a mask is to prevent the spread of COVID from non-symptomatic people. Most masks don’t protect you from inhaling the virus but it will prevent you from spreading it.

Here’s an example to help you understand. In the operating room of a hospital, the surgeon and staff are wearing masks to protect the patient, not themselves. It’s that simple. If you don’t support the wearing of masks then I would expect you to have no issues if you go into surgery and the staff decides to remove their masks for comfort and freedom. It’s that simple.
