O'Brien, Donald F.

Donald F. “Bud” O'Brien, 92 entered into peace on Monday October 11, 2021. He was born the Thompsonville section of Enfield and was the son of the late Myron and Margaret Kelly O'Brien. Bud was an Air Force Veteran having served during the Korean War. He was formerly employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford for over 35 years. Bud was a lifelong member of St Patrick's Church. He enjoyed golf, the Boston Red Sox, was an avid UCONN sports fan and enjoyed all

things aviation. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Joyce Cooper O'Brien in 2019. He was also predeceased by his daughter Cynthia O'Brien and his sister Margaret “Sis” Aleskwiz. He is survived by a son Michael and his wife Tina of W. Springfield MA and a son Daniel and his wife Annemarie of Windsor CT. Bud also leaves 4 grandchildren Molly and her wife Chloe, Shane, Kelly and Laura, and 1 great grand daughter Violet. And also, nieces, nephews and cousins and a special friend and care taker Sandy O'Brien. Funeral Services will be private for the family with Burial with Military Honors in St Patrick's King Street Cemetery, Enfield, CT. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd, Enfield, CT will be handling the funeral arrangements.
