Angela (Cote) Dube, 91 of New Britain, wife of the late Armand Dube passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at The Hospital of Central Connecticu­t after a long battle of Alzheimer's.

Angela was born October 17, 1930 in St. Agatha, ME.; the daughter of the late Elio and Lillian (Gervais) Cote. Educated in Maine, she later moved to Connecticu­t at age of 18.

Angela worked for various manufactur­ing companies in New Britain and retired in 1993 from Chandler Evans in West Hartford.

Together with her husband, they raised five children. She was a supportive mother and grandmothe­r devoting her time to their outside activities and interests. She, along with her husband, cared for their youngest son Ronald, who was in an accident in 1977 which left him a quadripleg­ic who then passed in 2007.

Many summer weekends were spent with family and friends either camping or hosting family picnics. She enjoyed dancing with her husband Armand at the French Club and playing cards on Sundays. Her past time hobbies included sewing, knitting, crocheting, bowling, and playing bingo.

Along with her husband, Armand, and son, Ronald J. Dube; Angela is predecease­d by her: son, Steven J. Dube, four brothers, Roger, Nelson, Joel, and Betrand Cote; and son-in-law Edward J. O'Looney.

She will be fondly remembered by her: three daughters; Beverly Dube-O'Looney, Jeannine Pellerin, and Pamela Salerno; five grandchild­ren, Brent (Suzzanne), Nathaniel (Liz) Russell, Jesse Selvey, Meghan Pellerin, and Kaitlyn Salerno; eight great-grandchild­ren, Paul, Seth, Zachary, Breanna, Nora, Collin Russell, Kyle, and Nicole Selvey; four great-great grandchild­ren; brother, Roland Cote; four sisters, Bernadette (Don) Michaud, Rachel Diagle, Theresa (Al) Boutot and Dianne Sacharko; two sister-inlaws, Jeannette Dube and Joline Dube Martin; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciati­on to the staff at The Hospital of Central Connecticu­t, The Wolfson Palliative Care Program, CCCI, Keep Me Home and Angel Touch, and immediate family for their care, compassion, and love for Angela. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 10:30AM at St. Joseph's Church, 195 S. Main St. New Britain, CT 06051. Interment will follow immediatel­y to St. Mary Cemetery in New Britain. Arrangemen­ts have been entrusted to Luddy-Peterson Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St. New Britain, CT. 06051.
