Lorraine M. (Dominique) Harrison, 94, of South Windsor and previously of Windsor, beloved wife to the late Thomas T. Harrison, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on October 8, 2022. Lorraine was born in Hartford on September 9, 1928, the only child to Arthur and Maria (Bertsch) Dominique. Lorraine grew up in Farmington, attended local schools and graduated from

Farmington High School as the Salutatori­an of her class in 1946. During her working years, Lorraine was employed as a Teller Supervisor with various banks in the Hartford area, most recently with People's Bank before her retirement. Lorraine's faith was very important to her. She was an active member of the former Christ the King Lutheran Church in Windsor, attending services

weekly, assisting in the office, helping with funeral planning as well as being a longtime member of WELCA (Women's Evangelica­l Lutheran Church of America). Lorraine loved to travel. She and her husband had the pleasure of visiting many different destinatio­ns around the globe including Alaska, Hawaii, Scotland, Ireland, Germany and many, many more. In her spare time, she loved to craft and crochet, as well as snuggle up with a good book. Most of all, she adored spending time with her family. It was all about the grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. She eagerly looked forward to the next time she could spoil and play with the grandkids. Her family will miss her dearly, and her memory will be cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.

Lorraine is survived by her three children Linda Arzamarski and her husband Gary of Norwich, Dennis

A. Harrison, Sr. and his wife Susan of Windsor and Douglas Harrison of Bryan, TX; her four grandchild­ren Christophe­r Arzamarski, Laura Stefanski and her husband Jeff, Meghan Cerrigione and her husband David and Dennis A. Harrison, Jr. and his wife Althea; her eight great-grandchild­ren as well as her loving feline companion, Misty 2. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predecease­d by her grandson Brian Arzamarski.

Funeral services for Lorraine will be private. Burial will take place in Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery next to her husband. Carmon Windsor Funeral Home is in care of her arrangemen­ts.
