Adams, Elaine L.

Elaine L. Adams (Lundberg) of Vernon, CT peacefully passed to eternal rest on October 18, 2022 surrounded by her loving children. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Peter A. Adams. Elaine was born in Middletown, CT and raised in Portland, CT. She was identified as the ‘Most Outstanding Theta Rho Girl' in 1950, was an avid horsewoman, and was very proud to be the head majorette for Portland High School. After graduation in 1954, Elaine trained to be a hairdresser. After this, she discovered her true calling was nursing. She went on to become a licensed practical nurse and worked in Middlesex and Hartford Hospitals. It was during this time that she met the love of her life, Peter. Elaine took on an administrative role at the P.A. Adams Company, Inc. while she and Peter raised their family in Marlborough, CT. Elaine is survived by her children Cyndy (Mark) Skripol, Kathy (Rob) Adams and John Adams, her grandson Adam (Michelle) Jameson, great grand daughter Amelia, her brother Edward (Maureen) Lundberg, nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved and faithful canine Cooper.
