Randolph Scott, 76, of Bloomfield, CT, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 24, 2022, after a well fought battle with lung cancer. Randolph was born in Hartford, CT on January 24, 1946, son of Louis Lee and the late Howard Scott. Randolph was raised in Hartford and graduated with the class of 1964 from Weaver High School. After graduating, Randolph served in the United States Marine Corps Platoon 368, in South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. After serving in the Marines, Randolph joined the Hartford Police Department, serving his community for thirty years until retiring with the rank of Sergeant.

Scotty, as he was affectionately known, will be fondly remembered for the love he had for others as well as the positive influence he left on everyone he met. He was known for his love of music as well as his widely distributed mixed tapes. Scotty had a way of looking at the world, not through rose covered glasses, but with a heart full of love and compassion. Even though he will be missed, we will feel his presence every time that perfect song plays, knowing he is creating a special mix tape just for you.

Along with his devoted wife Brenda Randle Scott and his mother Louise, Randolph leaves to cherish his memory his son, Kevin Scott; his daughter, Tanya Scott; his sister, Candice Mattingly, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Along with his father Howard, Randolph was predeceased by his first wife Marlene Zorn Scott.
