Sanger, Donald F.

Donald F. Sanger, 82, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was born in Stafford, son of the late Selah and Doris (Cooley) Sanger. Donald received an engineering degree from Worcester Polytechnical Institute and worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for many years. He also served in the Civil Air Patrol. He enjoyed volunteering at the Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington Railway Museum and the Portland Railroad. Donald was formerly a Deacon and Treasurer at the Second Congregational Church of Stafford at West Stafford. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne (Herman) Sanger; daughter, Loretta Benson and her husband Gregory; son, Douglas Sanger; daughter Cindy Rhine and her husband Stewart; and his five beloved grand cats. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc, 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow the service at Stafford Street Cemetery, Patten Rd., Stafford Springs. Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
