Induddi, Marie G.

Marie G. Induddi passed away peacefully Tuesday night December 6, 2022 at the age of 101 3/4, surrounded by her family at Hartford hospital. Born Maria Gilda Messa in Castellano, Bari Italy January 19, 1921, her parents moved Marie when she was 3 months old to Astoria, NY where she lived with her parents and brother Louis Messa. Later she met her husband, Dominic Induddi. They shared a wonderful, loving and happy marriage for 64 years and 9 months (11-10-1946). They moved to Hicksville, NY where they were blessed to raise two sons. Marie worked happily for many years with Clinique until she retired and moved to South Windsor, CT in 1986 where

she spent the remainder of her life at Cinnamon Springs Condos. She loved summer days by the pool with her “girlfriends” sipping gin martinis and gossiping. Marie loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family and neighbors. Her infamous box cake was always a hit at Christmas. She enjoyed holidays or anytime she was surrounded by her sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Marie is survived by her 2 nephews, Frank and Robert Messa. Her son Charles Westcott, (wife Dawn Westcott) son Kevin Induddi and her daughters-in-law Emily Induddi and Rose McLean. Her 6 grandchildren, James Westcott, Alexander Westcott (wife Alexis), Rachel McLean (fiancé William O'Brien) Lucas McLean, Christina Fraley (husband William Fraley) and Frank Lacaprucia (wife Samantha). Finally her 6 Great Grand Children, Olivia, Brooklyn, William Jr., Angelica, Liam & Ryan. Marie was a faithful member of St Francis Of Assisi Church for over 30 years.
