Louise Dellert Lyke, 79, of Windsor Locks, passed away suddenly on December 4, 2022. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Vernis (Ogden) Dellert and Harold A. Dellert. Louise was

a proud graduate of Ellsworth High School in South Windsor and Morse College and continued to be a member of the reunion committee. She worked at Finast and the Travelers and retired many years ago. She was a member of First Congregati­onal Church of East Windsor. Louise was a member of Girl Scouts and received her Gold Star Award and went on to be a leader. She shared fond memories of camping at Camp Asto Wamah. She worked on the East Windsor Board of Ed for many years, also working as a teachers aide at East Windsor Middle School. She loved her civic duty of working on the polls. Louise enjoyed all her activities but her greatest love and joy was her family. Louise is survived by her children, Robert K. Lyke, III

(Holly) of Enfield, CT and Christophe­r A. Lyke (Jennifer) of Las Vegas, NV. Her grandchild­ren, Austin Lyke (Beverly) and Norah Lyke of Enfield, CT, Londyn and Logan Lyke of Las Vegas, NV. Her great grandchild­ren, Abigail and Bradley Lyke. She also leaves her beloved life long friend Marcia Magee of South Windsor, CT. She was predecease­d by her parents and sister, Lorwayne Larabee. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family on December 19 from 3:30 to 5:30 at Leete Stevens Funeral Home, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT. Burial will be private at the family's convenienc­e.
