Georgette Boucher Paquette peacefully passed away to be in the arms of her Lord, at Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Georgette was born on January 16, 1935 in Hartford, CT. She resided in Hartford and in West Hartford, CT until she settled in Wethersfie­ld, CT where she raised her family. After being a snowbird between Connecticu­t and Florida for 10 years she eventually resided in West Palm Beach, FL full time. For the final 10 years of her life she resided in Vero Beach, FL in an independen­t living facility.

Georgie was an avid gardener with an extra love for growing roses, and vegetables. She loved anything that involved nature. She especially enjoyed playing her organ and creating beautiful works of art using oil and water color paints. Georgie was also a very devout Christian. She was very involved in church, prayer groups and bible studies. She shared her love for Christ with almost everyone she encountere­d.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerard and Jeannette Boucher, and her brothers Eugene, Henry, and Raymond Boucher. She is survived by her children Ronald (Trish) Paquette, Louise Furman, Jeannine Duncan, and Elaine Newell. She is also survived by her sisters Gloria (Peter) Wu, Muriel Towhill, Jeannine (Dave) Manson, and Colette (Jay) Waddill, and her brother Norman Boucher. She is also survived by her grandchild­ren, Jason Furman, Melissa Furman, Craig Duncan, Andrea Duncan, Breanna Johnson, Ben Newell, Caleb Newell, Jacob Newell, Marshall Watson, and Jeffery Paquette and her great grandchild­ren, Osiah Furman, Makayla Duncan, Cydney Duncan, Olivia Duncan, Janelle Duncan, Brandon Duncan, Charlotte Johnson, Maggie Johnson and Aiden Oliver Newell.

Donations can be made to Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL in honor of Georgette Paquette. A celebratio­n of life will be held in Connecticu­t.
