Mosdale, Kerry J.

-

Kerry J. Mosdale, 67, of Rocky Hill and previously of Windsor, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. He was born in Hartford on October 28, 1955, one of three children to the late John E. and Grace (Smith) Mosdale.

Kerry grew up in Windsor and was a graduate of Windsor High School, Class of 1973. Following high school, he continued his education graduating from the University of New Haven earning a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. He was most recently employed at Manchester Pediatric Associates.

Kerry was an avid New York Giants football fan and cheered them on regularly, rarely missing a game. He looked forward to the warmer months of the year as he enjoyed spending time on the golf course with his close friends. Family was very important to him, as he adored the time he was able to spend with them, especially his grandchildren. In addition to family, he maintained many close friendships from his childhood in Windsor, with some lasting over 60 years. In his spare time, Kerry enjoyed writing, watching golf on Sundays, dining out, blues bands, and trying new breweries. Many of these activities were enjoyed with his partner, Marietta. Although our time with Kerry was cut short, his memory will be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.

Kerry is survived by his three children, Josh Mosdale and his wife Amanda of Plainville, Phil Mosdale and his wife Janine of Lebanon, and Kristen Mosdale of Colchester; his seven grandchildren, Luke, Hunter, Logan, John “Jack”, Addison, Frankie and Grace; his two sisters, Kathy Rathbun and her husband Mike of New Hampshire, and Karen Bailey and her husband Jack of Texas, as well as his longtime partner, Marietta Capobianco of Rocky Hill. He also leaves nieces and nephews Heather, Jeremy, Gillian, Adam, and Dan. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, from 4-7 p.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. His funeral service will be held privately. To leave an online message of condolence for his family, please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com.
