Jay E. Hall, husband of ToryBeth Radwick-Hall passed away on March 5, 2023 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 25, 1953 in Torrington, son of the late Clark W. and Lettiel (Thayer) Hall. He graduated from Oliver Wolcott Technical School and attended St. Bonaventur­e University in NY. After 42 years of dedicated service, he retired from AT&T. He was also proud to be a Ski Instructor for the blind.

Jay had a real zest for life and an infectious personalit­y. He brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He loved to spend time with friends listening to music, live or recorded, and sharing a drink, a story and a laugh. He was an avid fan of both the Miami Dolphins and the New York Yankees. He also enjoyed watching college basketball, especially UConn and Duke. He was passionate about animals. Most especially his own cats, Little and his “Princess” Mini.

He also loved to travel, most especially to Hawaii where he and Tory were married in 2018. They only met in 2016, but in that short period they lived a lifetime together full of love and happiness. They loved spending nights at home together, watching tv and playing a mean game of cribbage.

Besides, his wife, Tory-Beth, he leaves his daughters, Amy and Sarah Hall and grandson, Lawrence Sanders of New Haven; brothers, Milton and Bruce (Gail) Hall of Torrington, and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his stepsons, Jeff (Joanne) Radwick and Eric (Catherine) Radwick and their son Adam, and step family, Jay, Dawn, Erica & Ryan Bertoli, Nick and Grace who loved him dearly and cherished every moment and memory made with him. He was predecease­d by his siblings, Jane Campi, Katherine Hall and Clarence Hall.

A Celebratio­n of Life will be hold on March 25th at Sasso's Coal Fired Pizza, 52 Main St. Torrington from 11:30 – 2:30. This is not a formal memorial service, but rather a time to gather family and friends to remember the man, Jay E. Hall, who gave us all so much love and joy and to honor his life. Come for the entire time, or just drop by to share a memory with those gathered.
