Clifford A. Martin, 65, of East Windsor, beloved husband of 39 years to Michele (Crispino) Martin, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, July 28, 2023, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Hartford on July 2, 1958, one of three children to David H. and Carolyn M. (Anderson) Martin.

Cliff grew up in Windsor, attended local schools and was a graduate of Windsor High School, Class of 1976. Following his schooling he was employed as a mechanic with Gros-Ite Industries in Farmington before moving along to the former EDAC Technologies in Cheshire, now Hanwha Aerospace USA, earning the title of Maintenance Manager before his retirement in 2021. In his spare time, Cliff enjoyed spending time outdoors doing the things he loved: spending time on the water fishing, kayaking, surfing, as well as hunting, working on cars and motorcycles. He looked forward to the nice weather to ride with his wife and friends. Although Cliff's time with us was cut short, his smile, personality and hardworking mentality will be cherished in the hearts of his family, friends and anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing him for years to come. In addition to his wife, Cliff is survived by his mother, Carolyn Martin of Windsor; his son, Shane Martin and his partner Kailyn Lepert of Smithfield, RI; his daughter, Courtney Ossolinski and her husband Eric of Windsor Locks; his two twin granddaughters, Brooke and Madison; his brother, Steve Martin of Willington; his sister, Cindy Martin of Hampton, NH, as well as other family members and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father and his beloved dog, Sandydog.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, from 4-7 p.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor with a prayer service to begin at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
