Hartford Pizza Restaurant Robbed At Gunpoint

HARTFORD — Police said they are looking for a man who robbed restaurant employees at gunpoint Wednesday night in Hartford.

No one was injured in the holdup at George’s Pizza Restaurant, 2027 Park St., about 9:50 p.m., they said.

The robber came into the restaurant with a gun and, pointing it at a victim, demanded money from the register. He went behind the counter and took about $100 in cash before running away, police said.

Officers were unable to find the robber, but the holdup was captured on surveillan­ce video. Investigat­ors are reviewing the video and plan to release it, police said.
