It’s the Dems’ fault there’s no resolution

-

As the partial government shutdown continues, it becomes more apparent with every passing day that the Democrats bear responsibility for their failure to make any effort to resolve the issue.

President Donald Trump is willing to negotiate, but the Democrat leaders from the House and Senate refuse to compromise. What happened to their overflowing compassion for the Dreamers? The Democratic leaders and their members in the House and Senate continue to insist a wall is not needed, using the catch phrase of the month, “medieval.”

The fact is that numerous current and former U.S. Border Patrol officials and agents are on record as saying that a wall/barrier is needed to help them do their jobs more efficiently and to keep them safe in the process. They want to stop drug smugglers, human traffickers, and illegal immigration.

President Trump has visited the border and spoken to the U.S. Border Patrol agents face to face. He cares about their safety and the need to do their jobs in a way that is best for all concerned. U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., have not been to the border recently. How would they know what the border patrol agents need? Do they even care? They should do their own jobs and stop telling the border agents how they should do theirs.
