■ Diamondbacks: The D’backs hit three straight HRs off RHP Jerad Eickhoff to open Monday night’s road game against Phillies. Jarrod Dyson hit the first pitch of the game for his fourth HR, Ketel Marte followed with his 16th and David Peralta added his ninth.

■ Rays: RHP Charlie Morton remained unbeaten, pitching seven shutout innings to lift the Rays to a 6-2 victory over the visiting A’s. Brandon Lowe homered for the third time in two days, snapping a scoreless tie in the sixth and helping the Rays take over sole possession of the first place in the AL East with their sixth victory in seven games. The 35-year-old Morton (8-0), who allowed just two singles and retired the last 14 he faced, extended his career-best winning streak to 11 games dating to Aug. 17, when he was with the Astros. The stretch covers 21 starts — 14 with the Rays since signing a two-year, $30 million contract in free agency — and is the longest active streak in the majors.

■ Braves, Pirates: Ronald Acuna Jr. hit a grand slam, Ozzie Albies added two HRs and the host Braves beat Pirates 13-7 after Pirates starter Joe Musgrove was ejected in a first-inning fracas. The Braves hit five HRs, including two-run shots by Nick Markakis and Freddie Freeman. Markakis had four hits and drove in four runs. Starling Marte hit two HRs and drove in four for the Pirates. The Braves have won four straight, while the Pirates are on a four-game skid. Musgrove hit Josh Donaldson with a first-inning pitch. As Donaldson began walking to first, he exchanged words with Musgrove, took a few steps toward the mound and then shoved C Elias Diaz, who intervened. The umpires huddled and ejected Musgrove and Donaldson. Pirates manager Clint Hurdle also was ejected by home plate umpire Brian Gorman after arguing the decision to toss Musgrove.

■ Cardinals: RHP Michael Wacha pitched six scoreless innings in his return to the rotation, leading the Cardinals to a 4-1 win over the host Marlins. Wacha (4-2), who was briefly demoted to the bullpen, benefited from three double plays and a pickoff in his first start since May 22. The former All-Star allowed five hits, struck out four and lowered his ERA to 5.63. The Cards totaled only four hits but scored three unearned runs in the sixth. ... As expected, RHP Adam Wainwright was placed on the IL with a strained left hamstring. Wainwright, 37, was hurt running out a double in Sunday night’s loss to the Cubs. At 5-6, he is tied for the team lead in victories and is second with 61 strikeouts. RHP Ryan Helsley was recalled.
