Lee, Patricia (Newman)

Patricia Jean Newman Judson Lee, 90, of Holyoke, MA and formerly of Middletown, wife of the late Sidney Paul Judson and the late Daniel Wallace Lee, passed away on February 17, 2020 at Day Brook Village in Holyoke, MA. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late John and Erma (Breakell) Newman. Patricia graduated Woodrow Wilson High School and Wheaton College, Class of 1951, Cum Laude. She worked as Secretary to Master of Calhoun College, Yale University, as secretary of History Department, Wesleyan University. She also worked as secretary to the Editor of College English magazine at Trinity College in Hartford. Patricia volunteered in the library program at Valley Crest School in Wethersfield, Buttonball Elementary Library, FISH, the Senior Center and the Audubon Society, all in Glastonbury. She was a member of South United Methodist in Middletown, the Federated Woman’s Club of Glastonbury and the Audubon Society in Glastonbury. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Susan Lee Judson Jordan and her husband Peter of Florence, MA and three grandchildren, Stephanie Jordan, William Jordan and Adele Jordan. Along with her husbands and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John B. Newman. A private graveside service will be held in the spring.
