CaRgill, susan R.

Susan R. Cargill, 74, of Burlington, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at home. She was born on January 30, 1946, a daughter of the late Lester B. and Rena (Stockwell) Rich. Susan is the loving wife of Raymond Cargill for 53 years. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, reading and she adored her pets. Besides her husband, Raymond, Susan is survived by her daughters Belinda, Karen and Elizabeth Cargill all of Burlington; granddaugh­ter Rena; brothers Glenn and Kim; sisters Linda, Leslie, Amy, Valerie, Wendy, Sandra, Candi and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol from 5PM until 7PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 10AM directly at Heritage United Pentecosta­l Church, 48 Lewis St., Bristol. A burial will follow at Burlington Center Cemetery. WasilaUskY, Joan P.

Joan Wasilausky, 80, of Bloomfield, beloved companion for 42 years and wife for 7 years of Mary A. Rucci, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2020. Born on July 21, 1939 in Hartford, she was the daughter of Edward and Pauline (Steen) Kozyra, and graduated from Bulkeley High School. Joan was employed for years in home sales, was in constructi­on as a project manager, and also sold houses and commercial buildings for builders. She retired in 2008 as the Office Manager for Ampere Electric. Joan loved spending time with her family and they meant the world to her. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. She will be fondly remembered by her family as a woman who was very giving and loving. She would help anyone in need and you couldn’t go to her house without leaving with something, particular­ly food or clothes. Joan loved animals, especially her beloved dog, Sophie. In her younger years, Joan loved to horseback ride and her life revolved around taking care of her horses. She loved to visit Florida, which was her inspiratio­n to get better so that she and Mary could retire there. She loved the ocean and enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. Joan was an avid reader of mystery novels and enjoyed all types of music, particular­ly soft rock and Celine Dion. She was also a very good cook and loved to eat, but also enjoyed when others cooked for her. Besides her wife, Mary, she is survived by her son, Christophe­r J. Wasilausky of Hartford; her grandchild­ren, Heather Wasilausky, Chelsey Wasilausky, and Jordan Wasilausky; her great-grandson, Levi Noone; her siblings, Edward Paul Kozyra and his fiancée Pon Olmer of Coventry, Kathleen M. Anselmo of Enfield, Joseph E. Kozyra of Florida, and Eileen Hoyt and her husband Bradley of Florida; her brother-in-law, John Aurigemma; and many very special nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Besides her parents, she was predecease­d by two sisters, Robin Kozyra, and Ann Aurigemma. Her family will receive friends on Friday, February 28, 9:00-10:45 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Wintonbury Ave., Bloomfield, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Anna B. Jagielski, 98, widow of Edward Jagielski of Plantsvill­e passed away peacefully on Sunday February 23, 2020. She was born on February 20, 1922 in Plymouth, CT the daughter of the late Nicholas and Christina Banziruk. Anna is survived by her children and their spouses, Carol and Russell Nebbia of Indian Land, SC, Janet and Robert Pyryemybid­a of Saratoga Springs, NY, Clara and John Gissas of The Villages, FL, Donald and Arlene Jagielski of Forestvill­e, Florence and David Monighetti of East Hampton, CT and Ruth and Michael Kelly of Groton, MA; her twelve grandchild­ren and twenty great-grandchild­ren; her sister Ellen Armbruster of Terryville and many nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by her siblings, Mary Belik, Daniel and Harry Banziruk, Sophie Lyga, and Catherine and John Banziruk. Calling hours will be held on Friday February 28, 2020 from 8:30AM until 9:30 AM at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol/Forestvill­e then to St. Stanislaus Church, West St., Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM, followed by a procession to St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. ZaPOR, Barbara (O’Neil)

Barbara (O’Neil) Zapor of Berlin, CT, 83, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020 surrounded by her family. She leaves behind her children, Joann (Zapor) Sawyer and her husband Royal with whom she lived with, Gregory Zapor and his wife Audrey, John Zapor and his wife Julie and Donna (Zapor) Krawiec and her husband Michael. She also leaves behind her sisters, Martha Pavano who was her caregiver and Kitty Harrison. She also leaves her Grandchild­ren her “Betchki’s”, Christophe­r, Josh, Kyle, Adam, Mary, Grace, Christina, Amanda, Stephanie, Kyle, Erin, Jake and her 9 great grandchild­ren and many nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by her husband, Chester Zapor, her daughter, Laurie and her grandson Matthew Zapor. Funeral services will be held Friday (Feb 28th) starting at 9:00 AM from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Paul’s Church, 485 Alling St. Kensington. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, 662 Burritt St. New Britain. Visitation will be Thursday (Feb 27th ) from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Church 479 Alling St. Kensington, CT 06037.
