Enjoy the fun and flavor of New Orleans with these Mardi Gras parties in Connecticu­t. Events are Feb. 25 unless otherwise noted.

Black-Eyed Sally’s, 350 Asylum St., Hartford, offers Mardi Gras festivitie­s all day long on Feb. 25. A $14.95 all-you-caneat “Southern feast” lunch buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. includes dishes like chicken and Andouille gumbo, jambalaya, Southern fried chicken, blackened catfish with collard greens and chocolate bread pudding. Happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. features Hurricanes, Abita beers and free appetizers, and dinner from 6 to 11 p.m. offers specials in addition to the regular menu. Bistro on Main, 867 Main St., Manchester, offers a Taste of New Orleans menu Feb. 25 to 29, with dishes like NOLA turtle soup, crawfish-stuffed beignets, frog legs etouffee and Bourbon Street chicken. Eli Cannon’s, 695 Main St., Middletown, celebrates Mardi Gras as well as its 26th anniversar­y in business, starting at 4 p.m. with a crawfish boil, Hurricanes, gumbo, po’boys, king cake, beers from

Plan B Burger Bar’s West Hartford location (138 Park Road) hosts a Fat Tuesday party all day with special food and drink items like jambalaya, gumbo, po’boys, bread pudding, Abita beer, Hurricanes and Jim Beam Orleans cocktails. At Coyote Blue, 1960 Saybrook Road, Middletown, a Mardi Gras menu running through Feb. 27 includes New Orleans crab dip, chicken and Andouille sausage gumbo, cornmeal crusted catfish with Cajun tartar sauce, shrimp etouffee, NOLA boil with crawfish, shrimp and grits, and chicken and sausage jambalaya. Celebrate at the New Britain Museum of American Art (56 Lexington St., New Britain) at the Feb. 28 Mardi Gras-themed Museum After Dark event, featuring drinks, music from River City Slim & The Zydeco Hogs, face painting, a photo booth, fortune teller and king cake.
