Auto sales bouncing back
Following the lifting of shelter-in-place orders in many states, auto sales are improving, according to The Detroit
Bureau. In part, the improvement in sales also could be attributed to incentives offered by vehicle manufacturers, though some dealers fear that a shortage of pickup trucks could hobble any rebound, according to Automotive News. Early sales results in May suggest a market decline of 20 percent, which sounds dire, but is an improvement over the estimated 50 percent drop in sales that took place in April.
